2. Begin to solve The Locker Problem (see handout from class or post below) - remember to have fun with this, and no Googling!  The name of the game is to see, wonder, and make conjectures about mathematical patterns.... :)

Log in to Khan Academy and practice/work on your Coach Recommendations for 25 minutes.

Instructions on how to log in (and add me as your coach - steps 4-6 - if you were absent):

1. First, log in to your Google account using your apps4pps.net credentials.

2. Go to khanacademy.org

3. Click, "log in", and then, "log in with Google"

4. If/when prompted, click "Allow Access" to allow Khan Academy to link up with your Google.

5. Click on "Profile" and go to your main dashboard.

6. Click on "Coaches" and in the space where it says to "Add a coach", enter one of these codes:
1st Period Code: QZKB8G
2nd Period Code: KDT53Q

7. Begin working on Coach Recommendations within your 6th Grade Math Mission.  Remember to go to "Progress" and then "Coach Recommendations" first to work on modules I've assigned.

Tonight's Modules - Get "5 in a Row" on each:
- Least Common Multiple Exercise
- Greatest Common Factor Exercise
- LCM and GCF Word Problems

Complete this review packet (all short, 3-5 minute warm-ups) on divisibility, LCM, GCF, and prime factorization.

*If you scored Proficient or higher on our recent LCM and GCF assessment - this above homework is optional.  If you haven't yet attempted solving The Locker Problem (see previous post), I encourage you to tackle it!  Hearing many interesting strategies from the students I've spoken with who tried it over the weekend!
